In the last few months, God has spoken to me that 2025 is the year of adventure and a season to possess our promised lands. It is time for us to leave our comfort zones behind, break through fear and resistance, and partner together to take the territory God has given us.

To say “Yes” to Adventure with God!

I love a good adventure story. The one where the hero has a dream and knows they were destined for more, but is stuck in their current life or difficulty. They meet a guide who awakens them to their future potential, invites them on a grand adventure, and shows them the right path to take. They start off all excited and hopeful until they meet some unexpected challenge. They must choose to push through their fear, persevere, and overcome the challenge. In this breakthrough, they become the person they were searching for all along. In the end, they realize it was the journey, not the destination that is the true gift.

The Bible is full of stories of unlikely heroes, who despite their weakness, achieved great things with God. Take David, Joseph, Esther, Moses, and Joshua, to name just a few. The Bible is also full of amazing promises that God is with us and has given us His Spirit to empower of us for His divine purposes.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Joshua 1:9 – Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

God created us for a life of adventure with Him. He is our guide and knows the right path for us to take. God is calling us to leave our comfort zones, to trust Him, and to follow His plans for our life, one step at a time.

Prayer:
Dear God, I pray for my friend today. That you would give them boldness, courage, strength, tenacity, and wisdom through your Spirit, to push past fear and go possess the promised land you have given to them. I pray for you to empower them with the right friends, resources, strategy, and open doors to accelerate their process. I ask for you to help them to trust you with their hearts and follow your lead. May this be a year of grand adventure, breakthrough, and birthing your promises in their lives. In Jesus Name, Amen
